Long-Term Care Partnership
Training Courses
The long-term
care insurance (LTCI) partnership program was developed
in the 1980's to encourage people who might otherwise
turn to Medicaid to finance their long-term care (LTC).
The Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 now allows all states
the option to enact partnership legislation requiring
that all producers who sell, solicit, or negotiate
long-term care insurance must complete training on this
subject.
All courses
meet the mandatory requirements of the DRA and NAIC
model Long-Term Care and Long-Term Care Partnership (LTCPP)
training and are also approved for state insurance
continuing education, CFP®, and other professional
designation continuing education.
